Of Mountain Drives, MTV, and Marijuana Brownies

John tells a story of a road trip in the spring of 1983, "back in the day when you thought nothing of traveling 1200 miles, and taking the requisite marijuana brownies". On a rainy day, he and his friends ended up in Whistler, BC, where they had intended to go skiing. They checked into the chalet, where they discovered satellite television and MTV.
