Meeting Halfway in Kingston for a New Year's Eve Tradition

Frank is one of Rick Miller's childhood friends, and he tells a story of how he and his partner Anouk would get together every New Year's Eve with Rick and his partner Stephanie (featured as a character in BOOM X). When Rick and Stephanie moved to Toronto at the turn of the millennium, the tradition continued for a few years, with one couple travelling across Highway 401 to meet the other. One year, a last minute plan was put into place to meet halfway, in Kingston, ON, after which they went back their separate ways - East and West. BOOM X brought back a flood of memories for Frank, and the importance of connections with the people we grew up with. Thanks for sharing, Frank.
