John immigrated to Montreal 60 years ago from Belgium (the Flemish part). His introduction to Canadian culture was through television, specifically the Perry Como show. It was the first time he had ever seen TV commercials. One that stuck in his head was for Kleenex tissues. “Kleenex: It Clings Like Cloth”. Thanks for sharing, John.
