Enola Gay shares the story of her unusual name. Most people have heard of Enola Gay as the name of the B-52 Bomber that dropped the first American atomic bomb (code-named “Little Boy”) on Hiroshima, Japan at the end of WW2. Ten years later, when her mother was pregnant, she was at a drive-in with her husband, and the movie “Above and Beyond” featured the famous plane.
