My Boomer Dad: The Ultimate Role Model

Alexa’s dad was born in 1957, and was her “ultimate role model”. He was a baby boomer musician, and Alexa was raised on the music of his generation: The Beatles, the Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, Dylan, etc. He told her stories of how he would listen to songs on the radio in his bedroom, and try to learn them on his guitar, by ear. He later went to the University of Calgary, and would play all these songs in the dorm rooms - and “not do anything illegal”… These songs that spoke to him and his boomer cohorts, and Alexa was glad he passed them on to her.
