"Mommy, Are Those Planes Coming From Russia?"

Kathy grew up in Montreal and remembers seeing planes flying overhead during the Cold War. She was terribly afraid of the threat from Russia, and would ask her mom, "Are they coming from Russia?" Her mother would reply, "No, no, no." She would still go to sleep terrified. All these memories came flooding back during BOOM, as well as the relief that came when that fear dissipated.
