American Canadians

STORY BY: Brian Hull
YEAR: 1969
LOCATION: Toronto, ON

Having participated in anti-war demonstrations in NYC, Brian was asked to leave Yale University in 1969. This didn't stop him from publishing his book on international development once he came to Toronto. Brian also talked about his friend, Lynn, and her “huge contribution to the creative life in Toronto”, having introduced clogs to Canada while writing copy for the Eaton's catalogue, and having helped to preserve The Church of the Holy Trinity by changing the design of the Eaton Centre. Thanks for sharing, Brian.
