From Trinidad to Winnipeg, from 70 to 0˚F

Joséfa's father came from Trinidad to check out Expo 1967 in Montreal, Canada. He traveled from Montreal to Winnipeg to Kamloops, and loved it all. Back in Trinidad, he said to his wife, "We're moving to Canada." They landed in Winnipeg on Jan 30 1970, going from 70 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. She was shocked by the cold, and by the discovery that snow wasn't crushed ice, like in her father's drinks. Canada is her home, and she wishes her father were here to see this show.
