Joanne remembers going to the Maple Leaf-Montreal hockey game. Great excitement, lots of shouting, had some pints. Later, as they were ambling towards Yorkville, Joanne got bombed - not by a water balloon, but by someone who had relieved themselves into a balloon then launched it down 7 stories on her head. Later in her life, her in-laws owned a resort where "some hippy guy" wanted a place to stay. He turned out to be Bruce Cockburn. Two of the "gifts" life gave her to savour. Thanks for sharing, Joanne.
