Draft Dodgers at U of Manitoba, and Adventures in Yorkville.
Rick remembers draft dodgers showing up at the University of Manitoba in the late 60s, bringing things like hallucinogens to a very "straight" campus. He was among the conservatives who were skeptical of the new arrivals, but as a whole, they were welcomed on campus. He then moved to Toronto, working in Yorkville's Mynah Bird coffee house, and living near Rochville, the first co-ed residence in Canada - and a source of scandal in the Toronto Star for "promoting promiscuity". Thanks for sharing, Rick.
