Expo 67: When Multimedia Becomes Entertainment

STORY BY: Joe Allan
YEAR: 1967
LOCATION: Montreal, QC

Joseph remembers that Expo 67 caused a real interest in multimedia. The Kodak pavilion had 360 films, including one where the RCMP charged towards the camera and planes were flying over cliffs. The images were so vivid, that it created a sense of vertigo in much of the audience. According to him, that was where multimedia became entertainment. Thanks for sharing, Joseph.
