Canada: Hungry for Immigrants in the 60s

Marie-Elizabeth emigrated to Canada from Germany in the 60s. She had wanted to emigrate to the United States, but it was very difficult to do so at that time. Canada, however, was very hungry for immigrants, and they not only asked her to come, they then thanked her profusely for coming! Thanks for sharing, Marie-Elizabeth.
