Screaming at the Movie Screen: The Beatles' "A Hard Day's Night"

Janne is from Ottawa, but grew up in Sarnia, ON. When she was 7, her father allowed her to pick her first film, which was the Beatles' "A Hard Day's Night". He tried to discourage her, but she pleaded with him, and off they went to the movies. They had to sit in the balcony, with a bunch of fathers who were smoking. She remembers all the teenagers below screaming at the screen throughout the whole movie. Being 7, she couldn't understand why, because the screams drowned out all the sound from the movie.
