STORY BY: Wes Midmore
YEAR: 1955
LOCATION: Vancouver, BC
Wes shares a story about the Davy Crockett fad back in the 1950s. When the fad ended, someone bought up a bunch of the Coonskin Caps, cut the tails off, and tried to sell them as "Pierre Radisson hats", a French fur trader and one of the founders of the Hudson's Bay Company.
