Thousands Killed in Prague Spring.
STORY BY: Ross J.
YEAR: 1968
LOCATION: Prague, Czechoslovakia
Ross was traveling as a young teen in Czechoslovakia in 1972, seeing relatives with his parents and sister. They went to several small villages, and the conversation often turned to the Prague Spring of 1968. The residents had documents that had been kept hidden, but were revealed to Ross and his family. They showed how the Russians had killed thousands of people in the Velvet Revolution, not just the few that they had advertised to the world. Thanks for sharing, Ross.
