Jerry Rubin Stirs the Pot at UBC

STORY BY: Ren Amor
YEAR: 1968
LOCATION: University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC

Ren was a student at UBC in 1968, when the notorious activist Jerry Rubin came to visit students protesting on campus. He convinced them to "liberate" and occupy the Faculty Club. About 1,000 students marched on the Club and the sit-in lasted though for 2 days. Thanks for sharing, Ren.
