Honking at WW2's End
STORY BY: Gerald Nelson
YEAR: 1945
LOCATION: Halifax, NS
Gerald remembers the day World War Two ended. He was in a car, on his way to Halifax from Tangier, NS. Driving through Chezzetcook, they turned the car radio on. When the announcement was made, the driver started blowing the car horn, and every other car was doing the same thing. Thanks for sharing, Gerald.
