The Nintendo 64

STORY BY: Loïc Cremer
YEAR: 1998
LOCATION: Edmonton, AB

Loïc tells a story that he feels defines his generation and the sub-culture he grew up in. When he was 6 years old, he begged his parents for a Nintendo 64, which one of his friends had at home. It was a little box that he would play with his brother, but it revolutionized the way people played games and how they came together for them. The whole obsessive gaming culture started with Nintendo, and "the 64 really defined that moment for me...and helped build who I am". Thanks for sharing, Loïc.
